Exchange Server Reliability and Security

Nightly Backups
Our engineers have a comprehensive disaster recovery plan including nightly disaster recovery backups to NAS (Network Attached Storage) and then further backed up to magnetic tape. This approach provides the ultimate in security and peace of mind for all AtmyExchange clients and also decreases the impact of backup sessions on server performance. AtmyExchange stores 14 days of disaster recovery backup history. Additional backup plans are available for an extra service fee. These include Brick Level backups where we are able to recover individual items in a mailbox in the event a user needs to recover portions of a mailbox.

Redundant Hardware Architecture
Our hosted Exchange infrastructure runs in a front-end/back-end configuration. Our load-balanced front end servers handle incoming SMTP, HTTP/HTTPS, RPC, RPC over HTTP and Wireless connections. This protects back-end Exchange servers from attack.

Anti-Virus / Hacker Protection
Our Microsoft Exchange servers are constantly monitored for viruses and hacker attacks. Using a variety of specialized network monitoring tools, intrusion detection and anti-virus software, we go the extra mile to ensure your AtmyExchange account is safe and running smoothly. Virulent attachments and message bodies are deleted before they get to your inbox. AtmyExchange uses GFI for virus scanning services. Note: Additional anti-virus options are available for a nominal monthly fee through the AtmyExchange antispam service.

Emergency Support
AtmyExchange operates a fully staffed helpdesk Monday-Friday 8AM EST to Midnight EST. Our helpdesk can help you with personalized support for Outlook configuration and setup, migration of email from other services as well as answer general questions about Exchange and Outlook as well as wireless device support. Additionally, our engineers monitor all systems  365 days a year. After hours, we provide toll-free telephone support for all end-users on an emergency basis. Emergency support covers connectivity, failed mail and DNS-related issues.
